About me
People and photography have been separate passions of mine for a long time. Several years ago, I figured it was about time they met one another. Photography is a great escape and I love that everyday, “on the job” feels like a vacation that I get to spend with some pretty awesome people.
I’m based in Denver Colorado and I love every square inch of it. Take me to the places where you love, where you thrive, and where you make your memories – I will capture it all. I love taking trips around the state and am more than happy to follow you “out-of-town”.
I like my photos like I like my butter: soft, light, and creamy. Don’t give me that over processed, questionable, and hard nasty stuff. Because I refuse photos like that for myself, I refuse photos like that for you. I have an awesome local printer that I use who helps expand your photos to fit on all the walls of your home to ensure you get to keep them in good shape for a long time.

I'm a pretty easy gal to get a hold of when it comes to taking your pictures! However, here are the three most awesome ways to reach me...
1. E-mail is always great to start that initial conversation with me. In your e-mail, please tell me the best way for me to reach you. E-mail is great but I don't like it to be the only way we communicate. My email is: Shelbydowns.photography@gmail.com
2. My Facebook photography page is another great way to reach me. If you are on social media more than your e-mail, go ahead and send me a private message on my page. I'll get notified right away!
3. Right Here (well, right below)! I am on my site constantly and am notified every time someone sends me a message through the contact form. It asks you for your e-mail so I know how to reply to you!
Please do NOT send me private messages on Instagram. I do not use that in any way to communicate with my families.
