Keep Them Little...Please.

Kids and Babies are my most favorite to photograph! They are so light hearted, always giggling, and willing to do the fun crazy things. With how fast children grow-up and change even within 6 months, I understand how much you want to capture their little lives right where they are. I can guarantee that these shoots will go just how you want them. You know them best and I want to make sure that the end product is exactly what you had in mind!

Newborns

For newborn photo shoots, the best time is really when they are less than a month old. This is because they are still stuck in that little frog position and are completely moldable. They also like to sleep... a lot! This helps get tons of those sweet, soft and buttery photos. For newborn photo shoots, we can either do studio or outside. If you feel comfortable, we will do the studio session in my home. If you prefer to have them done in the home that they will be growing up in, I ask that our consultation be in your home. Having it in your home helps me to see where the good lighting is, what areas of the home are too dark or too bright during the day. I also like to be able to scope out what you have that will help with the shoot; baskets, blankets, colored walls, etc. This way I know what I need to bring the day of. Wherever you feel baby will be most comfortable, let's go there!

Kiddos

Kiddo shoots are a total blast! I love how much fun they have when the camera is pointed towards them. Kid shoots are pretty easy and usually do not go very structured or planned out. It's best to just let them be themselves and get them feeling natural and comfortable. I like to do these at a park because we get the grass and tree areas as well as the colorful playground sets. A playground that your child is familiar with is perfect because they feel confident in their environment.
If their backyard is their most favorite place, than let's go there! Wherever they feel the most safe and can have the most fun, we can make it work.
